‘90 Day Fiance’ Scott Ditches Lidia, Shows Off New Love

Scott Wern and Lidia Jimeno were not a love match on 90 Day Fiance: Love In Paradise. They had connected prior to him coming to see her in the Dominican Republic. Yet, the match failed to light once they were together in person. Now, it seems that he has moved on. Who is she? Read on for more details.

90 Day Fiance Scott Ditches Lidia, Shows Off New Love

The biggest issue between Scott Wern and Lidia Jimeno was their language barrier. They could not communicate via a translator app so Scott found someone to assist on their first date. Then, Lidia brought in her daughter, Nicole to help ask all of the questions she needed answers to. This was hard for Scott because he felt like he was under attack. Plus, they brought up him not giving Lidia money yet he gave a much younger former girlfriend cash. So, did they just want Scott to finance their lives? By the third day, Scott realized that he and Lidia could not be together. There was no chemistry and trying to communicate was impossible.

More so, he had been contacted by his ex, who also lived in the DR. For him, he just felt that it was the perfect chance to give that another chance. After all, he was looking for Love In Paradise. In the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiance, he will reconnect with her and they will see if there is anything left for them. However, on his Instagram, he seems to be happily toasting and posing with a new love after ditching Lidia. It is unclear whether or not this is the woman that he had dated previously or a new lovely lady.

Yet, she was young and seemed to be beaming while they were together. Definitely not a smile Scott Wern had when he was with Lidia. In the caption, he wrote: “Lis and Scotty 💕🇨🇴 .” Immediately, his followers wanted to know who she was but were happy to see him happy. “So glad this worked out for you. Your story didn’t play out how you deserved, and I genuinely enjoyed your journey!” one wrote.

Next Season?

90 Day Fiance fans also asked if they would be appearing in the next season of Love In Paradise. Co-star Carlos Jimenez wrote: “See you guys on next season of #LIP 🔥❤️.” That would be interesting to see him come back and actually be with someone who he clicked with. Fans seem to appreciate him on social media and think he is funny and charming.
