Are 90 Day Fiance: Love In Paradise couple Scott Wern and Lidia Jimeno coming to an end? Admittedly, their romance has not been the same since Scott came to the Dominican Republic. He did so that they could see if their online romance translated into a real-life love affair. It was a bit rocky, especially due to the language barrier. Now, it seems that this may not be an everlasting love. Read on for more details.

90 Day Fiance: Love In Paradise Is It Over For Scott & Lidia?

Scott Wern and Lidia Jimeno were extremely excited to meet after just communicating online. Then, he made the plan to come to visit her in the Dominican Republic. TLC viewers may not have known who Scott was but they were definitely familiar with Lidia. She is the mother of Pedro Jimeno from The Family Chantel. Along with her daughter, Nicole, they made his marriage to Chantel Everett a nightmare. It has since ended in divorce but Lidia Jimeno has been single for way too long so it was her turn to find a partner. Scott has made her feel alive but now that they have spent time together on Love In Paradise, it’s not ideal.

Scott likes to joke and, because of the language barrier, he often dropped the ball. Then, Nicole had a meal with Scott and her mother where she asked a bevy of questions. Many of them were extremely personal which made Scott feel under a microscope. Nicole wanted to know how many partners Scott had and about his 29-year-old past flame. More so, she wanted to know why he did not spoil her mother and send her money. Now, some time has gone by and it seems that the chemistry is not there, per Hollywood Life.

In an exclusive clip for the Monday, May 29th episode of 90 Day Fiance, Scott Wern decides that he is going to part ways with Lidia. They are out to eat when they are struggling with the language barrier and it comes to a head. Once again, Scott leans on a translator from TLC to help him. Remember, he did need to find a translator for their first date and even that was rough.

Troubles In Translator Paradise?

Essentially, Scott has come to a point where he cannot handle the fact that they can’t have a normal conversation without some sort of translator. He explains that he just wants to be able to talk to his girlfriend alone. More so, he shares that talking online was much easier. The chats were shorter and it just made it simpler. Now, they are together a lot more, and with that, comes more talking but the translator app has failed them. It’s frustrating. As for Lidia, she privately says that this is a mixed message.

Scott apparently claimed that the language barrier did not matter to him but now he is singing a different tune. Finally, back at thir meal, Lidia Jimeno is honest about it all and lets the translator know how she really feels. “The attitude he has is very fast. He’s not putting in the time, I don’t think the language is the problem. Now he has a problem. Well, there’s a problem.” This might not be the only problem for Scott as the 90 Day Fiance star later shares he feels there is a lack of chemistry, as well.
