‘OutDaughtered:’ Danielle Busby REFUSES To Handicap Hazel
In the trailer for the new season of OutDaughtered, Adam and Danielle Busby reveal their daughter Hazel is having a pretty hard time learning to ride her bike. Sadly, Adam explains she just isn’t picking it up the same way the other quints did.
While having a conversation with Adam in the house about it, Danielle seemingly shuts down the idea that they will slap their daughter with a handicap as the reason why she’s struggling with the bike. Roaring her point, Danielle insists she will NOT handicap their daughter. What handicap is she talking about exactly? Keep reading for the scoop or scroll down to check out the trailer.
OutDaughtered: Danielle Busby REFUSES To Handicap Hazel
In the trailer, fans watch as Hazel Busby struggles to get going on her bike before tumbling to the ground. Feeling defeated, the quint seems to bury her face in her helmet as she looks down at the ground for a while before getting up.
Adam Busby could be seen standing close to his daughter ready to help. He, however, was waiting to see what she did first as he didn’t want to overstep and help her before she needed it.
While the trailer doesn’t seem to include Adam’s side of the conversation, it does include him sharing that Hazel has been struggling with trying to ride her bike for a while now.
The trailer cuts to a scene with Blayke and her little sister Hazel sitting at a kitchen table doing some artwork. Blayke proceeds to reassure her little sister that she also struggled for a pretty long time before mastering a bike. This information seemed to lift Hazel’s mood as she looked up and smiled at her sister.
Presumably talking to Adam about the situation, Danielle insists that she is not willing to just blame everything Hazel struggles with on her vision. While the scene cut without much more being revealed. Fans can only assume Danielle just doesn’t want Hazel’s vision issues to be used as a crutch that holds her back from accomplishing things in life.
Below is the trailer with Adam and Danielle discussing Hazel and her bike:
