Shots fired — Duggar cousin Amy King has attacked Jim Bob and Michelle’s official statement regarding the Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets documentary.

“News flash” the black sheep of the family exclaimed as she pointed out to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar that they were NOT the victims of the situation and they should stop trying to act like they are.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were not happy about the documentary

Immediately following the release of Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, Jim Bob and Michelle didn’t waste any time breaking their silence and issuing an official statement on the harmful documentary. The TLC couple said they thought it was “sad” something with the intention of harming their family was being released. Moreover, they wanted it to be known they were still connected to all members of their family and would continue to maintain healthy relationships with everyone.

Amy King attacks statement in scathing TikTok

In a brief and scathing TikTok, Amy King shared a screenshot of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s statement as she reacted to it. She told them she had a “news flash” for them before she proceeded to explain the fatal flaw for the couple was not being in the public eye. The fatal flaw was not getting their son Josh Duggar into therapy and getting him the medical help he clearly needed from an early age.

The Duggar cousin insists Michelle and Jim Bob have no one but themselves to blame for the release of this documentary and it is their fault their beautiful daughters are currently in a place where they have to heal from so much trauma.

While Amy King was brave enough to post this video, she opted to turn the comments off. So, Duggar fans and followers were not able to share their thoughts directly in response. Elsewhere, however, followers that don’t necessarily consider themselves to be fans of the family agree it is a bit tone-deaf for Michelle and Jim Bob to attempt to play the victim card given the way things have played out.

  1. I didn’t watch the Duggars when it was free Im sure as not going to pay to watch another bunch of unhealthy people and pay for it. But I definitely don’t believe the parents are victims at all

  2. Good on you Amy….we’ll said
Josh is a product of those two playing God & stuffing up their daughter’s & your lives. Michelle & Jim Bob are disgusting creatures and now look at Anna as another result of their work. Anna has no backbone, no self respect and she has let him be with the children even after she found out about his filthy ways.
