‘RHOBH’ Erika Jayne Dating Tainted Lawyer?

Is RHOBH star Erika Jayne dating another tainted lawyer? She struggled with the demise of her marriage to formerly prominent attorney, Tom Girardi. Jayne filed for divorce from him in November 2020 and it has been an uphill battle since. Now, she is out and about with a new man but it seems his past is not so clean, either. Erika Jayne was so excited to share that she had gotten her groove back after separating from her longtime husband, Tom Girardi. She was thirty-three years younger than her lawyer husband who had worked on some of the highest-profile trials. However, he was also accused of embezzling millions from his clients and more. This led to an investigation into Erika’s finances, as well. She had left him and her lavish lifestyle for a more humble situation. Yet, she still seemed to have all that she wanted and needed. As for a male partner, she admitted that she was meeting men but did not have a boyfriend. More so, she was having flings and enjoying what she got.

Now, Season 13 of RHOBH has wrapped and Erika Jayne is preparing for her Las Vegas residency. Set to begin in August and run through December, Erika has her groove back. With that has come a new man. According to Page Six, she was seen out with lawyer, Jim Wilkes. First off, Wilkes is older than Jayne as he is seventy-two so she has a type. Moreover, he has a little bit of a shady past, much like her estranged husband.

In fact, he actually used to work with Tom Girardi and has allegedly been helping Erika Jayne in the divorce process. So, what are his scandalous issues? In April 2023, he was arrested after a recent domestic dispute that led him to shoot two times. Jim Wilkes says the lady he was fighting with hit him in the head, therefore, he chose to use his gun as a scare tactic. The woman’s story was quite different as she claims he did hold the gun to her and said he would kill her.

A New Support System?

Erika Jayne has credited her estranged husband with supporting her dreams for years. He helped her have the private jets and be able to spend 40K/month on a glam squad. Now, she is on her own but it seems Jim Wilkes has also been helpful, not just for legal advice. The Sun reported that he sent her half of a million dollars to help during her divorce. Plus, their rendezvous took place in Las Vegas where she is currently working. So, he is really supporting her, much like Tom Girardi did.
