‘My 600-Lb Life’ Pauline Potter Reveals Major Surgery To Come
Pauline Potter is going to receive another major surgery soon.
The former My 600-Lb Life guest shared on social media that she had another procedure scheduled for June 2023. Fans know that Pauline was pretty successful with Dr. Now‘s program long-term, so what exactly happened?
Keep reading to see what TV Shows Ace discovered.
My 600-Lb Life‘s Pauline Potter worked hard and transformed her life
When Pauline Potter appeared on My 600-Lb Life Season 3, she weighed in at 673.5 lbs. During her time on the series, she only lost about 149 lbs. But through hard work and determination, she managed to keep going after leaving the series.
Now, Pauline looks much different today.
After leaving My 600-Lb Life, she reportedly lost another 500 lbs. Over the past few years, she’s shown off photos of her weight loss progress. Viewers agree that Pauline worked incredibly hard to achieve those results.
But even so, she’s not quite out of the woods yet when it comes to her health.
As people age, they often deal with knee issues. Pauline Potter was 50 years old during her episode, which premiered in 2015. That means she would be in her late 50s today.
In 2023, Pauline is at a much healthier weight. However, spending years at her former weight could have contributed to her knee issues. Regardless of the cause, the TLC personality plans to have a total knee replacement in a few weeks.
“Well friends… I’m getting my last total knee replacement on June 5th,” Pauline captioned her Facebook post. “Send a prayer or two my way please. Kinda nervous for the pain that’s coming but will be glad to have it done and over with!”
She attached a few photos of her leg, revealing that she also had the procedure done about seven months before.
The procedure definitely looks painful, but fans are hopeful that Pauline will pull through and heal well. She’s come so far and viewers would love to see her succeed.
Other former patients are also determined to reach their goals
Pauline Potter is just one example of many success stories My 600-Lb Life has had throughout its 11 seasons. In more recent years, Wess Schulze is one patient that most viewers are rallying behind.
After dealing with horrible child abuse in his formative years, he turned to food for comfort. Sadly, that resulted in a food addiction that followed Wess into his adulthood.
But after doing well in Dr. Now’s program, Wess has shared on social media that he’s still working hard. Today, he can even comfortably walk around a grocery store without assistance.
Viewers are excited to see the former guests make so much amazing progress.
