On TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, fans witnessed some of the ups and downs Olivia experienced in her relationships. She and her husband, Ethan Plath, struggled at times. There was also plenty of conflict between Olivia and her in-laws, Kim and Barry. Now, she’s opening up once again about some of the challenges she’s facing in her personal life.
Olivia Plath is hit with a heartbreaking loss.
On her Instagram Stories recently, Olivia shared with fans about the loss of her brother. Sadly, her 15-year-old brother, Micah Meggs, was hit by a car when he was on his bike. He died at the scene. She also shared a post on her Instagram feed, documenting this sad situation. She posted several photos of herself and Micah from over the years.
What has she shared about her estranged relationship?
While discussing the tragic topic of her brother’s death, she also disclosed a little bit of information about her estranged relationship with her parents. She opened up and shared some very raw details, especially in light of her brother’s passing.
Unfortunately, her parents distanced themselves from her. So, she has been unable to spend time with Micah and her other siblings.
In her Instagram post, Olivia Plath said:
“I hadn’t been allowed to see my younger brother Micah for several years, because as an adult I’ve chosen a non-religious different life path than my parents. I can’t stop thinking about all of the memories we never got to make and how I missed out on the last few years of his life.”
