Olivia Plath loses her younger brother.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Olivia recently opened up about the death of her younger brother, Micah Meggs. She took to social media to reveal she would be taking some time away as she grieved. When she first mentioned his death, she didn’t include his name or any details.
Later, more information came out, revealing that he was riding his bike when he was hit by a car. He died at the scene. A police investigation is in progress.
Now, her family is paying tribute to Micah and raising awareness.

This week, Micah’s obituary was published online. In it, the Meggs family pointed out that his “fun loving and intrepid determination characterized his life.” He enjoyed spending time outdoors and partook in a variety of activities out in nature, from fishing to camping.
Olivia Plath’s brother was also described as follows: “When he wasn’t outdoors, Micah loved to hang out with his siblings and a few close friends, playing practical jokes, sharing his understated sense of humor and bringing laughs to those he loved.”

The Meggs family uses Micah’s death to raise disability awareness.
Also in Micah’s obituary, his family mentioned that he had Cerebral Palsy. They noted that this was the result of a Brachial Plexus injury that occurred during his birth. They also said that it “made it difficult for him to do the things he enjoyed so much.”
However, he kept a positive attitude and continued to live his life. The Meggs said, “Despite the physical difficulties he experienced, Micah never complained or let himself be limited by his disability and continually found ways to pursue his outdoor activities despite this struggle.”
Instead of flowers, the Meggs are requesting donations to the Brachial Plexus foundation in Micah’s honor.
