Andy Cohen is finally revealing whether or not Lisa Rinna was fired or quit RHOBH. It appeared that she and Bravo had come to a mutual decision. Then, not much more was said. Yet, her good friend and former co-star, Erika Jayne alluded that this season was boring without Rinna. So, what is the truth behind it all? Read on for more details.

Andy Cohen Reveals If Lisa Rinna Was Fired Or Quit RHOBH

When Lisa Rinna announced that she was leaving RHOBH, it was not that big of a shock. She had a rocky Season 12 and her emotions had gotten the best of her. Then, she had an incident with Kathy Hilton and that really sealed the deal. Kathy proceeded to call Lisa the “biggest bully in Hollywood.” However, Rinna had been through, what she deemed a very traumatic event with Hilton in Aspen so it was a lot to digest. Plus, there were no cameras during said traumatic event so no one knew who was right and who was being over the top.

Now, Andy Cohen is opening up about who really decided it was time for Lisa Rinna to exit the series. Was it Bravo or was it Rinna herself who realized her time was up? According to Hollywood Life, Rinna actually chose to quit the series. Cohen shared these details in his latest book The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up. Apparently, she quit after the Season 12 reunion and Andy further discussed this on SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live. He asked: “What did you think about the tea that I spilled about Rinna quitting the show after the Beverly Hills reunion?”

Co-host Lauren Smith was quick to say: “That was wild to me because I had understood the narrative as her having been fired and I was mind-blown when she texted immediately that night after the reunion being like, ‘I’m out,’ but then it was like, ‘Actually no I’m not,’ and then it’s like, ‘Well, now you’re on pause.’ It was so chaotic.” For clarity, the term “on pause” comes from RHONY alum Dorina Medley who refused to believe she had been let go so she kept saying she had been put “on pause.”

Rinna Responds

So, what did Lisa Rinna have to say after Andy Cohen dropped the bomb that she had quit and was not actually fired? Does she regret leaving the series at all? Apparently, right after the book came out, her reps spoke to Hollywood Life. “[Lisa] is not ‘ON PAUSE ‘ and there was never any discussion with anyone about that concept. Her contract ended, and the parties mutually agreed not to engage on a new one. She felt her time on the show had run its course and she was more than happy to move on. And she still does not regret it.”

Do you believe that Lisa Rinna does not regret quitting the show? More so, will you miss her in the new season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
