Legal experts are beginning to chime in on Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s divorce.

Kroy Biermann has made a very bold move in his divorce petition against Kim Zolciak by pursuing sole custody of all four of their small children. Likewise, he got even more aggressive going for Kim’s jugular by staking his claim on their Georgia home and requesting that she be removed from the property and barred from coming back.

Now, other Bravo stars, fans, and a few anonymous sources have all been sharing their thoughts on Kim and Kroy’s divorce. Some Bravo stars have admitted they aren’t too surprised by the way things are unfolding as they always suspected the couple seemed to live more lavishly than they could afford. On Brielle and Ariana Biermann’s social media profiles, fans admit they are shocked to learn Kim and Kroy are splitting up as they assumed things were good with the couple. Some fans even speculated this divorce was not real and the couple decided to split up in a shady attempt to make fixing their financial issues.

On Kim Zolciak’s Instagram, there isn’t a lot of love for her from anyone regarding the divorce. Fans all seem to be in agreement that Kim got with Kroy because he smelled like money. Fans argue that Kim Zolciak bled Kroy dry of every penny and now that there’s no money left she wants out.

Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment News, Celebrity divorce lawyer Charlotte Christian chimes in on the bold move Kroy Biermann has made by claiming he wants sole custody of all the children.

“The request for sole custody indicates that this may be a nasty divorce as most divorce complaints ask for joint custody to some degree.” The lawyer explained.

To be awarded sole custody, one parent must prove that the child’s best interest would be served by being with one parent a majority of the time, with that parent making the parenting decisions and the other parent only visiting the child. Generally speaking, for a sole custody award, one parent must be unwilling or unable to parent and sole custody is rarely granted.”

Fortunately for Kim, it seems unlikely that Kroy would be given sole custody of the children. It sounds more like the move was just his way of twisting the knife in what’s shaping up to be a nasty divorce.

As fans know, Kim Zolciak and Kroy are also parents to Brielle and Ariana as he adopted them years ago. Because they are 26 and 21, however, they are not part of this legal drama.
