Bravo Is Bringing Back Special ‘Project Runway’ Season 20 With ‘Below Deck’ Challenge

Bravo is doing something brand-new for the upcoming season of Project Runway. Season 20 will be very special, including a Below Deck challenge.

What do we know about the upcoming season? We have all the details.

Project Runway Is Coming Back With A First For Bravo

Bravo has announced Project Runway All-Stars Season 20. According to People, this is the first time that the network has ever done an All-Stars episode. When the series was on Lifetime, they had an All-Stars spinoff. However, this season is considered part of the OG series.

Returning is mentor Christian Siriano, as well as judges Nina Garcia, Elaine Welteroth, and Brandon Maxwell.

More so, this new season will include designers from Season 1 through Season 19. The designers competing for the quarter of a million dollar prize include Kara Saun, Nora Pagel, Hester Sunshine, Anna Yinan Zhou, Korto Momolu, Viktor Luna, Rami Kasha, Mila Hermanovski, Johnathan Kanye Gillaspie, Bishme Cromartie, Pablo Costa, Porjje Oscar Jean Baptiste, Brittany Allen, and Laurence Basse.

What could be interesting is that Christian will be mentoring Rami. The two designers were the Season 4 finalists. At BravoCon 2022, Christian hinted some potential conflict.

We found designers from Season 1. We even have a designer from my season, which will be really interesting because I’m the boss.

Christian has dressed former First Lady Michelle Obama, but Rami has dressed the Queen of Jordan, Queen Rania. This should be quite a lot of fun for viewers.

When Will Project Runway All Stars Season 20 Premiere?

The premiere of Project Runway All Stars will premiere on Thursday, June 15, at 8 p.m., Eastern. In addition, this will be a special two-part premiere.

Below Deck Challenge & Lots Of Fun Guest Judges

This upcoming season of Project Runway will offer a boatload of fun. This starts out with a “uniform refresh” for Bravo’s Below Deck cast.

Also, there is a cornucopia of fun guest judges. They include everyone from Luann de Lesseps, Julia Fox, and Alicia Silverstone to Jennie Garth and Billy Porter. This season also marks the return of Zac Posen.

Will Tim Gunn & Heidi Klum Be Back?

Will long-time Project Runway host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn return for this very special season? They will not. For the past few years, the pair have starred in Amazon’s Making The Cut.

The streamer already has three seasons available to binge. However, fashionistas are awaiting news on Season 4, which should be forthcoming.

Also, for fans in the know, Heidi’s replacement Karlie Kloss will not be back. She was recently at the Met Gala, taking some time away from her Florida compound next door to her sister-in-law Ivanka Trump. The last time she was the host of the series was back in Season 18.
