‘BIP’ Brandon Jones, Serene Russell End Engagement
Bachelor in Paradise fan favorites Brandon Jones and Serene Russell have decided to end their engagement. There has been a lot of speculation from fans that perhaps there were problems between them. However, just when the rumors appeared they might be true they would pop back up on each other’s social media. Monday they confirmed the split. Keep reading to find out more.

It’s officially over. Fan faves Brandon Jones and Serene Russell released a joint statement on Instagram revealing that their engagement is over. Their statement shared a few videos of them together. One singing a Harry Styles song, another goofing off at home. There were also photos in which Brandon and Serene looked so in love.
The statement read, “After many months, today we have ultimately decided to end our engagement. We have tried to work privately on our relationship which has been incredibly challenging in the public eye. This has been immensely hard to accept and painful, as there is a lot of love between the two of us. We are deeply hurting and can only ask that there be no hate. The best path for us at this time is to try and move forward and heal from this as individuals.”
Fans have immediately gone to the comments to express their disbelief and well wishes. One fan said, “I’m shook.” Others also commented expressing disappointment because they believed Brandon and Serene would make it.
The way they were
Brandon and Serene were deemed a couple fans wanted to see together before these two ever hit the beaches in Paradise. When they both arrived they instantly hit it off and fans were happy.
They were inseparable and survived the split week in which the women were whisked away for a week while new women tried to swoop in and steal their men. At the end of split week, Brandon and Serene were still going strong and more in love than ever.
Of course, he popped the question to Serene on the finale and she accepted happily. They talked a lot about wedding plans and were ultimately planning to tie the knot in 2024.
Sadly that will not happen any longer. Many fans are wondering if Brandon and Serene can’t make then who can?
