If you follow Alyssa on Instagram, you have probably seen all of the pretty pictures of herself and her kids dressed up for church. She documents their fun trips and happier moments. On YouTube, she’s posted plenty of videos of their holiday festivities and her daughters’ birthday parties. Of course, that’s not all that really goes on in her life. There are plenty of hard moments along the way.
In the past, she has talked about the negative parts of motherhood a little bit. But she tends to keep things very positive and lighthearted.

In the most recent posts on her Instagram Stories, however, the Bringing Up Bates star revealed she has been struggling lately.
She and her husband, John Webster, recently welcomed their fifth child, Rhett, to the world. They also have four daughters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci. So, the couple certainly has a lot on their plates.
On social media, she first posted a picture of all four of her daughters at their homeschool co-op. She revealed that this is “how the day started.” Then, she filmed a quick clip in the car, capturing the chaos of having five kids. She said that it’s “rough some days” and that “today was one of those days.”
Finally, she shared another snap of herself in the car and got real with fans about her emotions. She said:
“In all honesty five kids has been a big adjustment for me. Most days I feel like I have it all together and the next I think I’m on the verge of a breakdown.”
It looks like she’s trying to keep things positive, however. She pointed out, “I’m trying to make the most of it, good and bad.”
