Olivia Plath is heartbroken over her brother’s death.
As TV Shows Ace reported, on Saturday morning, Olivia revealed to fans that her younger brother had tragically passed away. At that point, she did not reveal too many details but said she needed some time away from social media.
Later, the news broke that her 15-year-old brother, Micah Meggs, had been riding his bike when he was struck by a Honda Accord. Sadly, he passed away at the scene. Olivia and Micah’s sister, Lydia Meggs, also shared a new post about this tragic loss.
In her newest social media post, Olivia didn’t specifically state that she is getting rid of her pet due to the loss of her brother. But it wouldn’t surprise fans if this was the case.
The Welcome to Plathville star makes the tough decision to abandon her pet.
In an Instagram Stories post on Sunday evening, Olivia Plath revealed that she was planning to rehome her pet hedgehog, Halle. She shared a photo of her pet and shared a lengthy caption about her decision.
She said, “I am unable right now to give her the attention and care she deserves.”
With the pet’s best interests in mind, Olivia is looking for a “loving, hedgie-friendly home.”
She went into detail about all of the items included with the hedgehog and said she’s open to answering questions. However, she did make it clear that she only wants serious messages about this. With the death of her brother, she has likely received many messages from fans, and she’s trying to take some time away from social media at this time. So, she probably doesn’t want a lot of extra notifications unless people are truly interested in adding Halle to their family.
