Though they didn’t explain their absence, fans know they have a lot going on right now. They are due to welcome their second baby to the world in May. So, there are many changes and preparations in the works.
Fortunately, despite a month away from Instagram, the couple is back. This time, they have a huge, special announcement to share with fans.

On Tuesday, May 2, Katey and Jed finally returned to social media after a month away. The couple revealed to fans that they are celebrating something huge. Their son, Truett Oliver, is one year old now! He celebrated his first birthday on May 2.
In honor of his special day, the proud parents shared a series of lovely photos.
In their caption, the couple also shared a sweet message to their little one. They said:
“Happy birthday to our sweet, adorable, curious, smart, and adventurous little boy! Truett, we love you more than you know and can’t wait to see the plans God has for your life unfold. You’ve brought so much joy and laughter to our lives through your fun personality!”
They also added that they love him and encouraged him to continue smiling.
Below, you can see the precious photos from Truett’s big day. It looks like the baby boy was really feeling the love. For the occasion, he wore a personalized shirt that reads, “One” on the front. The back says his name and has a number one on it. He had a smash cake and appears to be walking around with support.
