Teen Mom: Who Is Mackenzie Edwards’ New Boyfriend?

It has been a rough time for Mackenzie Edwards. She had to file a restraining order against her husband, Ryan Edwards after he tore apart their home. Additionally, she claimed he was using drugs and accused him of domestic abuse. Mackenzie has filed for divorce and Ryan will be behind bars for one year. This is truly sad as he had just started to film a new season of Teen Mom after being fired from the series. More so, it seemed like he was really connecting with his eldest son, Bentley, and putting forth an effort.

Despite all of this, everyone has to push forward and Mackenzie Edwards is doing just that. According to The Sun, she has a new man that she has been seeing since January of this year. Therefore, they have been linked prior to her filing for divorce. So, who is this mystery man? His name is Josh Panter and he just got divorced so he can relate to what Mackenzie is going through. A source opened up about the new couple’s romance and where they stand. “Mackenzie is always with Josh on his family’s property. I’m shocked she hasn’t moved in yet. His family seems to like her. She’s very involved,” the source explained.

Additionally, Josh has met Mackenzie Edwards’ three children, Hudson, Jagger, and Stella. Jagger and Stella are her kids with Ryan while Hudson is from a previous marriage. As for Josh, he has two children with his ex-wife, who he was with for four years. Apparently, his marriage ended because his wife did not feel the love that she needed from him. Furthermore, she had hoped that he would be there more for the family which seemingly did not happen.

Too Much Too Soon?

Ryan and Mackenzie Edwards apparently separated in January 2023. Josh and his wife’s divorce became official the following month so this is a lot all in a short period of time. Additionally, Ryan shared that Mackenzie was seeing someone in February which tracks with her and Josh’s relationship timeline. “She got caught cheating on me. When I wasn’t there every second of her life she felt like I didn’t love her enough or whatever, I don’t know. I love the person I thought she was, but when I found out who she really was, you can’t love her,” he told The Sun. Whatever the case may be, their marriage was clearly very toxic and hopefully, Mackenzie has found her happiness.
