90 Day Fiance: Molly Hopkins’ Daughter, Olivia, Sentenced To Jail
Per In Touch, Molly Hopkins’ will be saying goodbye to her daughter for a little while as she was found guilty of violating her parole and received sentencing of some time behind bars. As those who have been following this story know, her court hearing took place today (Wednesday, April 26th).
Court documents confirm she was sentenced to 45 days behind bars after being found guilty of violating her probation. After she completes her 45 days in the slammer, there will be an increase in the number of drug tests she receives to make sure she stays clean. Likewise, she will also be required to perform eight hours of community service on a weekly basis.
It was on April 4th that the 90 Day Fiance bombshell dropped confirming that Molly Hopkins’ daughter was both arrested and booked. She violated the probation terms of her previous arrest which dates back three years ago in October 2020. Turns out, there were a few different probation terms she violated. She skipped out on two mandatory drug tests in March, she failed the drug test she did manage to show up for, and she didn’t sign up for a family violence treatment program. At the time of her arrest, she also tested positive for the consumption of fentanyl.
Why Was She Arrested In October 2020?
Olivia was arrested for an altercation between her and her mother (that took place a little before midnight at her mother’s home). Back in January of this year, Olivia was charged with a simple battery misdemeanor.
An affidavit from the original arrest read detailing the incident: “[Olivia] allegedly struck the victim [Molly] multiple times in the head leaving a clearly visible red mark and kicked the victim in the leg.”
At the time, she was originally sentenced to perform 40 hours of community service, pay a $500 fine, take family violence classes, take anger management classes, and stay away from drugs and alcohol. Moreover, she was barred from having any additional violent contact with her mother.
As fans know, this isn’t the only open case involving Molly Hopkins’ daughter Olivia. Per InTouch Weekly, the battery and aggravated assault cause involving Molly’s ex-boyfriend Kelly Brown and Olivia has yet to close.
“The case is still technically labeled active because it has not been approved by a supervisor yet,” Cobb County Police Department’s Detective Lincoln confirmed to InTouch Weekly regarding the case about a month ago.
