What Does Jill Wagner Have To Say About End Of Hallmark’s ‘Mystery 101’?
Now that the Mystery 101 cancelation dust is beginning to clear, Sleuthers want to know what the rest of the cast has to say about the end of their favorite Hallmark Signature Mystery series. We have already heard from Kristoffer Polaha and his wink. He is currently working on a new Hallmark mystery with John Christian Plummer, the Mystery 101 screenwriter. Yet, what does Jill Wagner, his partner in solving crimes have to say?
What Did Jill Wagner Say About The End Of Mystery 101?
Very late on Monday, Mystery 101’s own Amy Winslow, Jill Wagner, went to Instagram to share her sentiments about the ending of the Hallmark mystery series. She also shared a lot of BTS photos. What did she have to say?
The End. @polahaha thank you for being such a good friend and partner in this amazing ride. I’m proud of what we created buddy. @robinthomasactor you made being your daughter easy. Thank you for lending your talents to our show. To @prestonvanderslice , the best robin to my Batman! To all the crews over the years … the show was built on your backs! Thank you!!! And to the fans ….. just so you know in my mind, Amy and Travis get married and go on a super long honeymoon to Fiji.!! 😉 thank you all for being so supportive and loving the show like you did! Stay tuned for the next chapter with me, lots of fun things coming your way ….. and you know I always love a good mystery 😏 #Mystery101
Although Travis and Amy did not officially get their happily ever after, she made sure that they did in her sweet missive. Jill and Kris, along with Robin Thomas all created a very special series that fans will remember for years to come.
Her mention of Travis and Amy going on honeymoon in Fiji is a nod to her first movie with Kristoffer Polaha, Pearl In Paradise, which has their two characters fall in love in Fiji.
However, what does Jill mean about her next chapter? She has something very exciting happening, and it will be coming out within the next year.
Jill Wagner & Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan Co-Created Lioness
Everyone who watches the Paramount series Yellowstone knows who Taylor Sheridan is. This talented showrunner and Jill Wagner have co-created a new series called Lioness. This is about a real-life elite CIA program where female soldiers implant themselves with families related to terrorists to take them down. This is going to be a gritty show that is very opposite to what Hallmark viewers are used to watching. Most of all, this is Jill’s creation.
Jill has been developing this series even before Mystery 101 ever started filming. She had told Polaha about her idea when they were filming Pearl In Paradise. That movie is five years old and at that time, Sheridan was still a bit unknown.
After having two adorable girls, Jill worked out and pumped herself up to be ready for her role as Bobby. She even cut her beautiful mane really short in preparation for this role. Since then, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, and other talents have joined this series in front of the camera, as well as producers. This promises to be a big hit for Paramount+.
Sounds like Sleuthers will be watching and saying how they knew Jill when she was Amy Winslow because Lioness promises to make her a household name.

I can’t believe you are not continuing Mystery 101 very disappointed
I too am very disappointed in the cancelation done by woke former CEO Wonya Lucas who did her best to ruin Hallmark Movies and have many stars leave for GAC or become free agents. This woke person was an absolute disaster.
I love mystery 101. I think if hallmark was going to cancel it the least they could have done is give us a happy ending. Every time I get started watching a series it gets canceled. This is why I rarely watch hallmark anymore. The descent shows get taken off.
Mystery 101 was an Awesome Film Series. If they wanted to cancel, there shouldn’t be a cliffhanger scene in the 7th Film.
Hallmark has already canceled so many good mystery shows and now this. I am shocked they would cancel Mysery 101. All the actors worked so well together. Not sure I will keep my Hallmark subscription. Tired if getting disappointed.
I just read that you have cancelled Mystery 101! I can’t believe you would do that to us. I love that show. That is as disappointing as your cancelling Ryan Pavey. He is such a great actor. I wish you would reconsider both of these bad decisions!!!
