‘Y&R’ Michelle Stafford Praises James Hyde Before Exit
The Young and the Restless has seen a lot of sizzling drama thanks to actor James Hyde. Ever since his character Jeremy Stark first made his debut in Genoa City, everyone has been on their toes. This is especially true for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), as she is one person who fears him the most. But that hasn’t been the case for Phyllis Summers. They’ve had one wild ride together. And now the character’s portrayer, Michelle Stafford, is saying goodbye to James Hyde as his time on The Young and the Restless is over.
As many The Young and the Restless fans know, Jeremy Stark was very instrumental in Phyllis’ plan to fake her death. She also learned the hard way that Jeremy was a very dangerous man. And while Phyllis was trying to survive for her own life on screen, Michelle’s off-screen relationship with James was the exact opposite of what fans saw in front of the cameras.
Y&R Michelle Stafford Praises James Hyde Before Exit
In her latest post on Instagram, Michelle Stafford gave away a spoiler for The Young and the Restless. Sharing a photo of herself with her co-star Jeremy Stark, she announced that his time on the show has come to an end. She also praised the actor for being such a joy to work with. She said, “Thank you for being such a positive spirit on set and a great scene partner. I’m sorry the marriage was short-lived and I’m sorry I stabbed you to death.”
Giving even more possible The Young and the Restless spoilers, Michelle also hinted that Jeremy’s death involved a pair of scissors! She also suggested that James come back and play Jeremy’s twin brother.
What’s Next For Phyllis On The Young and the Restless?
Now, where this all leaves Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless remains to be seen. After all, her loved ones all thought she was dead up to this point. But now that Jeremy Stark is dead, that changes everything. Phyllis will sure have a lot of explaining to do. Her children were devastated to learn about her death and will be just as surprised to find out the truth. Not only that, but Phyllis will also face an uphill courtroom battle. She’ll need to prove that she did kill Jeremy Stark in self-defense. If not, a long jail sentence awaits her.

Love James Hyde(Jeremy) he is a amazing actor. Definitely upset that he was killed off, Y&R had a great opportunity to use his character to breathe new life back into Genoa City. Phyllis and James could have been the next power couple. Please reconsider his exit and bring him back, also Michelle(Phyllis) you are the Queen of this show!! Can’t wait to see what’s next for her and James.
