Howie Mandel interviews Tom Sandoval

On Tuesday, April 11, Tom Sandoval appeared on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast. Both Howie and his daughter Jackelyn Shultz spoke to him about the cheating scandal. Howie wanted to interview Sandoval because mental health is his platform. The comedian said he doesn’t watch Vanderpump Rules, but his daughter was a huge fan of the show.

Howie also didn’t get what the fuss was about. He just wanted to have a candid, sit-down conversation with Sandoval about what happened. During the one-hour and 20-minute podcast episode, Sandoval shared all the details of what led to his affair. He admitted that his nine-year relationship with Ariana fizzled over the years.

Sandoval said they felt more like “best friends” or “roommates.” He claims that he broke up with her on Valentine’s Day. However, he said that she didn’t believe him. Sandoval also alleged that Ariana punched him when he tried to break up with her. He felt the pressure to stay with her because they built up a “brand.”

“The relationship was just lacking intimacy, the connection,” Tom Sandoval shared with Howie. “We wanted to make sure and keep the optics up that we were a solid powerful couple it was part of our brand.”

He also opened up about his feelings for Raquel. Sandoval called her “magnetic.” He also confirmed that he fell in “love” with her. However, the two are currently “on a break” during this time.

Blindsided Bravo

According to a new report, Tom Sandoval blindsided Bravo with his interview. The cable network had no idea that he was planning to break his silence. It could cause issues for the show. Sandoval’s interview took place even before the Pump Rules Season 10 and “Secrets Revealed” episodes, which will air next month.

“The [Vanderpump Rules producers] had no clue he was doing this, of course not,” an insider told The U.S. Sun. “They never would have allowed it. They’re putting so much time and energy into making sure the rest of the season is better than any other season and hyping up the reunion. So, him pulling this b***h move is basically producers’ worst-case scenario.”

They were also shocked by what happened. Howie announced the interview just a day before it came out, so it came as a surprise to everyone. No one had an idea that Sandoval was appearing on his podcast. Needless to say, producers aren’t happy with him right now.
