Chase Chrisley and his future wife Emmy Medders share an update with fans on their wedding date.

After two years of dating, Chase Chrisley asked Emmy Medders to be his wife on October 5th of last year. Many fans expected Chase and Emmy to have a shotgun wedding so Chase’s parents could attend before spending the next 12 and 7 years behind bars. Chase and Emmy surprised everyone when a shotgun wedding didn’t happen.

Chase’s sister Savannah recently revealed she has a boyfriend. She, however, has decided to keep his identity under wraps because she doesn’t want the spotlight to ruin the relationship. Chase’s sister also revealed that she feels as though she needs to put her life “on hold” for the next 12 years as she doesn’t think she can get married or have children while her parents are behind bars as she doesn’t want them to miss anything.

While fans agree that Chase hasn’t been nearly as obsessive with his parents’ situation when it comes to his Instagram activity, he has also expressed that he misses them. Chase, however, has also told people he hasn’t been as outspoken about the situation because he doesn’t believe he owes people an explanation or a statement.

With all of this information in mind, fans wonder what Chase and Emmy’s plans are as far as a wedding is concerned. Namely, have they picked out a date yet?

Emmy Medders told her Instagram followers that they had NOT selected a wedding date just yet. She explained that the lovebirds are very happy in the “engagement season” of their relationship. She shared a photo snuggled up with Chase as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. Here’s what she posted on her Instagram Stories:

Fans also pressed Emmy Medders during her Q&A session for a little tea on her relationship. What does she like about her future husband? Emmy admitted there were “so many things” she loved about Chase. She described him as a selfless and funny man who “loves others deeply.”
