Is RHOSLC Jen Shah Developing An Inmate Housewives Show?
Jen Shah is doing prison her own way. The topic of her arrest and guilt plea has recently resurfaced with the premiere of RHUGT3. Part of the cast includes Jen’s RHOSLC co-stars Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. Heather was by Jen Shah’s side up until she headed to the courthouse where she entered a guilty plea after maintaining her innocence. This was something she did not want to blindside her friends with. Apparently, she let Heather know what she was doing minutes before it happened.
This story was retold to the housemates of different housewife franchises in the season premiere of RHUGT3, taking place in Thailand. As for Jen, she got lucky as they were saying she would have to serve fourteen years. Ultimately, she was sentenced to 6.5 and then, it was just reduced by one year. She did not give any interviews beforehand but rather oped to start her own site to detail what she was going through. Now, she is taking housewives to the prison stage.
According to Page Six, Jen Shah has gathered her fellow inmates together for a play. This was initially revealed via TMZ. It will be entitled The Real Housewives of Bryan. Jen’s manager, Chris Giovanni explained that it is a work in progress as Jen is helping the people learn how to both read and write. This makes sense as her prison job has been both aiding in education as well as helping in the library. However, throughout this, Jen Shah is planning on making this play a reality based on actual locked-up housewives.
Paying It Back
Jen Shah seems to be making the most out of her prison time. Not only is she working on her play and helping educate others, but she is also getting in shape. Apparently, Shah has already lost fifteen pounds, partially because she does not care for the food. Additionally, she still has to pay back the 6.5 million she owes to her victims. The process of seizing her jewelry is currently happening so hopefully, those who lost their livelihoods can get back something.
