Honey Boo Boo Morphing Into Mama June In New Clip

It is no secret that fans feel Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson has changed a lot in recent years. She has become combative, rude, and pushy. More so, fans have actually started comparing the seventeen-year-old to her mother, Mama June for a handful of reasons. One of them is her penchant for overpromoting products on her social media. At one point, Mama June was pushing everything from crystals to snacks which made fans question if there was anything she would not do. Honey Boo Boo has become a little bit like that in the sense that she promotes eyelashes, pickles, and, at one point, Boston Market nuggets.

Now, in a clip from the new season of Family Crisis, obtained by People, it is Pumpkin who calls Alana out. She thinks that her behavior is very reminiscent of their mother. Last season was a big debacle for the family and it seemed that they may never recover. Eventually, she turned over custody of Alana to Pumpkin but not without a financial fight. There was a lot of back and forth but now, Mama June is married and wants to renew her vows with her girls by her side. Pumpkin is mad at June for making a wedding a priority when she is never there for her girls.

She declares: “You can’t even show up for your own f—ing kids, and you’re worried about a wedding.” Honey Boo Boo is done and not attending a wedding as they have been estranged since custody was turned over and the child support battle began. Pumpkin explains that she wants to put her attention on her family. Since she has custody of Alana, she suggests she starts applying for college. That is when it all goes south.

Who’s Your Mama?

Once Pumpkin makes this suggestion, Honey Boo Boo has a response for her older sister. “You’re not even my mama for real,” the teen replies. At that point, Pumpkin has some choice words for her sister. “Alana’s diva attitude reminds me of Mama.” Recently, both Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo went on a filthy-mouthed tirade on TikTok. Fans were quick to say it was reminiscent of Mama June when she could be a loose canon. Therefore, they are somewhat like their mama when the attitude strikes. As to whether or not Alana can control her attitude, that is yet to be seen.
