Gwendlyn Brown Explains Her Real Relation To Robyn’s Kids

Gwendlyn Brown is opening up about how she’s really related to Robyn Brown’s children. There are three kids that Kody’s fourth wife brought with her from a previous marriage. Though they were adopted by Kody in 2014, there is actually another connection Gwendlyn has to them. She broke it down for her followers and here is what she had to say.

Gwendlyn Brown Explains Her Real Relation To Robyn’s Kids

When Kody Brown married Robyn Sullivan in 2010, she had three kids from her marriage to David Jessop. Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna came in and seemingly adapted quite well to the plural family. Then, in 2014, Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown divorced him so he could legally wed Robyn. This aided in his adopting Robyn’s three children who soon became officially Brown kids. However, according to his daughter Gwendlyn Brown, they were already a part of the family.

Per Starcasm, Gwendlyn opened up about her familial relations in her latest Q&A. A fan asked about her mother, Christine Brown’s relation to Robyn’s ex-husband. It has long been discussed that the two are actually first cousins. Therefore, that would make Robyn’s first three children cousins to all of the Brown children, as well. However, Gwendlyn has referred to Robyn’s daughter as both her sister and her cousin. “When I was in high school, or middle school, and I first learned about that, I used to always refer to Aurora, since she and I are biologically second cousins, she’s also biologically my sister because we are, you know, genetically related… and we’re sisters, so she is my biological sister… which I think is just cute.”

To get technical, Aurora is Gwendlyn’s sister by marriage (and adoption) so she is not biologically a sibling. However, she is her cousin so to put it loosely, they are sisters and cousins. It is sweet that Gwendlyn Brown has embraced Robyn’s kids from her first marriage in such a way that she sees them as equals. That is what they deserve and it put Kody’s theories of a divided family to shame. He felt that Robyn and her kids were not fully accepted but Gwen is clearly debunking that.

Gwendlyn Brown never holds back about how she feels about her family, especially Kody, and Robyn Brown. Recently, she admitted that they do overspend. The couple, who are clearly living monogamously, spent time in Las Vegas and spared no expense. Some fans think that Kody will do whatever he needs to in order to keep his last wife standing satisfied. It is no secret that Robyn enjoys the finer things while his other three wives are off, living freely.
