Tom Schwartz Believes He Was A Great Husband To Katie Maloney

Tom Schwartz truly believes he was a great husband to Katie Maloney. On Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the exes had their last dinner. It quickly turned into an argument. Katie feels that Schwartz never respected her or her feelings. However, he feels that he was a good husband to her. Keep on reading to learn more.

Tom Schwartz makes his ex-wife cry

On last night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz had dinner in Mexico amid Scheana Shay’s wedding ceremony. They wanted to cap off their divorce. The two sold the home they once shared. Katie wore a red dress, while Schwartz wore a gray suit with Adidas sandals.

Their dinner started off pleasant until they started arguing. As they toasted to the closing on their house, Schwartz admitted he felt”guilty” for not attending Scheana’s wedding instead. He had to skip it to have dinner with Katie. Things took a turn when Katie said she “felt bad” for “stealing” him away from the wedding festivities that were on the other side of the resort.

“You know, it’s almost funny in a way,” Tom Schwartz said. “After we divorced, I’m more apt to defend you.”

Katie disagreed with him and said she hasn’t seen a change. She brought up the previous time when Schwartz was pitted against her. He claimed that she was abusing the “wife-husband card,” which means he should defend his ex-wife. Katie accused him of never defending her and claims she never abused it.

“I was a great f***ing husband,” Tom Schwartz declared. Katie was in shock over his words. Even were the viewers at home. Later on, Schwartz accused Katie of acting like a “provocateur.” That’s when she tearfully got up from her seat and left him alone in the restaurant.

Katie Maloney emotionally reacts

Katie reacted to what Tom Schwartz said in her confessional. She told the producer that he never “liked” her even if he “loved”  her. It was a simple truth that made her realize their marriage wasn’t going to work.

“The only thing I could ever come up with was just that he doesn’t like me,” Katie explained. “He might’ve loved me, but he just didn’t like me.”

During the dinner, Katie claimed that Tom Schwartz was “gaslighting” her. He retorted and said she loves to use that word on him. He shared they probably shouldn’t talk, to which Katie asked if they should remain friends. Schwartz continued to hurl more insults at her as she got up and walked away.
