Last month, a source told Us Weekly that Satchel has already “met some of” her Pump Rules co-stars and “hung out with some of her friends” since they started dating.

Over the summer, Katie joked that she was in the midst of her “cougar” era. The 35-year-old has enjoyed dating younger men. At the time, she was hesitant about entering a new relationship. She wanted to “just have fun” and see where things take her. Now, it sounds like Katie is enjoying her time with Satchel.

Tom Schwartz opened up about his divorce from Katie. He also shared his real feelings about her new boyfriend. In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, the TomTom co-manager said that he “will support whoever she wants to date.” He spoke with the outlet during Nola Bar & Lounge’s one-year anniversary event at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City on Saturday, November 5.

Tom Schwartz admitted that their divorce still “kind of stings.” However, he wants his ex-wife “to be happy.” Tom also revealed that he met Satchel “briefly.” He had a lot to say about Katie’s new beau.

“I got to meet him briefly. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this, but I liked him,” Tom Schwartz admitted. “And then people will be like, ‘oh well, you like everyone.’ I don’t like everyone, but I liked him, and I just want Katie to be happy. That’s all, you know.”

The 40-year-old hopes she doesn’t end up with an “a**hole.” The two got married in August 2016 after five years of dating. They finalized their divorce on October 12, 2022, after she filed in March 2022. They both moved out of their marital home in Los Angeles as they share custody of their two dogs.

Tom Schwartz also shared an update on the status of his relationship with Katie. Fans assumed the two grew apart after he was caught making out with Raquel Leviss at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding. Tom claims that he still has a lot of “love” for Katie and that they’re still “friends.” However, he admits their friendship has been fractured.

“I still consider [Katie] one of my closest friends in my life and love her. But man, yeah, we definitely ran the gauntlet this year,” Tom Schwartz shared. “She has a completely different outlook and perspective on our relationship I think [but] I still get excited every time I see her. I still love her. Not like in love.”
