According to a new report via The U.S. Sun, Wendy Williams is planning to move out of her $4.5 million home. She wants to sell most of her iconic belongings and trademark items. The former talk show host wants to move to Los Angeles where she can embark on a new lifestyle.

“Wendy has been calling people asking them to help sell all her stuff,” an insider told The U.S Sun late last month “She is asking for recommendations on places that can sell furniture for you.”

The former daytime television diva has a lot to prepare for her move. Wendy planned to list her items, including the iconic purple chair she used in her home. However, her rep Shawn Zanotti has denied the claims. She explained that Wendy is doing some “spring cleaning.”

“It’s a new chapter for Wendy and she wants new things,” Shawn said in a statement with The U.S. Sun. “This is a common gesture people do and Wendy is no different… it is out with old and in with the new.”

Naughty But Nice co-host Rob Shuter brought on entertainment reporter Delania Dixon aka Miss D. She was one of the first to spread the rumors that Wendy Williams planned to move out of NYC. Miss D said that she wanted to have a fresh start and enjoy her life as a single woman. Now, it looks like Wendy is escaping her ongoing money issues.

Wendy Williams battles $3 million loan

Last year, the former radio DJ personality was in a lengthy battle with Wells Fargo. Wendy Williams could likely have more financial issues. The U.S. Sun first reported that she is on the hook for a $3 million loan she took out for her $4.5 million penthouse. She is still not able to access her $10 million salary.

The mortgage comes from Wells Fargo, the same bank that Wendy has been battling. In February 2022, a judge petitioned for the 58-year-old to have a financial conservatorship. She bought the 2,400-square-foot home in June 2021.

It features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, granite countertops, high ceilings, and incredible views of New York City. The luxury apartment also has access to a private gym, game room, sauna, steam room, indoor swimming pool, and movie theater.
