Honey Boo Boo is back with another message for her fans and she is not so kind. As per usual, she has taken a serious situation about someone else and is making it about her. It was just revealed that her eldest sister, Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Of course, fans of the family were visibly shocked and taken aback. Yet, HBB’s message after the cancer announcement was not a thankful one but rather harsh. What did she say? Read on for more details.

At this point, nothing about Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson should shock anyone. Right after her boyfriend Dralin Carswell was arrested, she and her sister Pumpkin lashed out at fans. They mocked their followers and viewers, essentially saying that they were dirty. Furthermore, Pumpkin and Alana claimed that they were laughing all the way to the bank while everyone just continued to talk poorly about them. Within days, Pumpkin was on TikTok begging for money as she needed baby essentials and her car was on the verge of repossession.

As for Alana, she is now making her sister’s cancer diagnosis all about herself. Yesterday, news broke that Anna Cardwell had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma which was in her lung, kidney, and liver. She had done one round of chemo and had already started to lose her hair. However, her family had rallied around Anna to make sure she and her two children were okay. Now, Honey Boo Boo has taken to her Instagram per People to share some thoughts.

In her Instagram story, she shared a screenshot of the TMZ feature about Anna’s cancer. Along with that, Honey Boo Boo added this: “This is what I mean when I say you never truly know what somebody is going through at home. No matter how famous they are. Yes, I’m very famous, but normal s— happens to me and my family & y’all need to realize that ASAP.” There are a few things in her statement that are severely offputting and quite self-serving.

All About Her

Honey Boo Boo has developed this newfound attitude where she believes that she can say and do whatever she wants. Since her guardian, Pumpkin is much the same, there are really no consequences. This is evident by the filthy rampage they went on against their fans. Now, with Anna Cardwell’s cancer diagnosis, HBB could be humble and just say that the family is doing the best that they can. However, she chose to add that she is “very famous.” Plus, she is schooling her followers on the fact that normal stuff happens to her despite her fame.

Fans are well aware of this after seeing her mother, Mama June go down a substance abuse spiral. This led to Honey Boo Boo having to live with Pumpkin. It has not been easy for her at all but it is not about her at the moment. Maybe this is her way of coping with the trauma of what is going on with Anna. Yet, it seems self-serving and rude more than anything.
