Clare Crawley mourns tragic death
Per a recent Instagram post, Clare Crawley from Season 16 of Bachelorette reveals her beloved dog, Elbie has passed away. Words hardly seem to express the sadness that is currently in her heart following this tragic death as she tells her 998K followers it would be “an understatement” to say she missed her sweet Elbie.
As those who have followed Clare Crawley’s journey within the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise know, she is a certified dog lover. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Clare was placed in a unique situation where she got to take her two beloved dogs with her to film.
“Perks of filming in one location! These two babies never left my side through all of the days in isolation when I was alone prior to filming,” Clare Crawley boasted at the time. As fans recall, her golden retriever Honey was also in the clip and was just as thrilled to be along for the ride.
Like Clare, many fans of Bachelorette fell in love with her furbabies. So, it is especially difficult for fans to learn she had to say goodbye to one of her precious pups. Unfortunately, Clare did not share many details on her profile post regarding what exactly happened to her sweet Elbie. Clare Crawley also reassured her 998K Instagram followers that she was reading the messages she was receiving about the passing of her beloved pup. And, she appreciated each and every one of them.

Her Instagram post accumulated nearly 10K likes in just an hour since she shared the precious photo of her late furbaby. Fans poured into the comments with well wishes for Clare during this difficult time.
