Clare Crawley Talks Multiple Proposals, Two Weddings With Ryan Dawkins
Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley has finally found love organically without the help of the show. She had been dating Ryan Dawkins on the down low for nearly a year. She finally revealed him to her followers and within weeks he popped the question. Clare is engaged and in love and it looks like this time may just be forever. She opened up recently about her multiple proposals and why she says they want to have two weddings. Keep reading to find out more.
Clare Crawley dishes on multiple proposals, weddings
Entertainment Tonight shared all about Clare Crawley’s three different proposals and her and Ryan’s plans for their wedding. Ryan Dawkins first popped the question to Clare during the RiSE Lantern Festival. However, it didn’t stop there.
He actually did something very special for Clare and her mom. As fans know, Clare’s mom is suffering from Alzheimer’s. So, Ryan and Clare went to see her and he asked her again for her blessing to marry her daughter. He then got down on one knee again and proposed to her for a second time so her mom could be a part of it all.
Following all of this, Clare actually proposed to Ryan as well. She said, “We are very progressive people. I didn’t get down on a knee, but I proposed to him as well. So if people see him with a ring on his finger it’s because I proposed to him as well. He thought, ‘If you get to wear a ring, why don’t I get to wear a ring?'”
As for their wedding, it’s also all about Clare’s mom. She said, “We want two weddings.” Clare noted her mom is not around to travel or really be around a large group of people. So, she said, “I just want a special moment with her, for us to have a small, intimate ceremony.”
Clare went on to say that Ryan knows how much her mom means to her. She said, “He also wants her to be there for the wedding. Time is precious and time is limited, so we want one with her, just a small intimate thing, and then… maybe a destination.”

Clare noted that her mom really likes Ryan and he loves to go with her to visit.
Ryan had also revealed on an Instagram Q&A that his two young daughters are obsessed with Clare and can’t wait to have her as a stepmom. His two daughters are 8 and 11 years old.
Clare’s first date with Ryan was in September 2021. She kept it quiet and made sure she wasn’t using him as a rebound.
