For Savannah Chrisley, dating is a whole new experience now that she is the guardian of both Grayson and Chloe. As far as fans know, Savannah isn’t in a serious relationship at the moment. She, however, has told fans that she would like to keep some element of privacy when it comes to dating. The unfortunate truth is dating in the public eye has always put added pressure on her relationships. And, dating is hard enough without the added pressure of being in the public eye.
Now that she is responsible for Chloe and Grayson, Savannah has a whole new added element when it comes to dating. Is she able to date while taking care of her brother and sister? During her appearance on a recent episode of the podcast Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Savannah opened up about dating with children under her roof.
Is Savannah Chrisley still able to date?
Getting super candid with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Savannah admits that dating was something she wasn’t sure she could do given her current situation. She recalled looking at single parents and wondering how they made it work. How did they give their children everything they needed while dipping their toes in the dating pool?
Eventually, Savannah realized dating with children was a “packaged deal.” If someone wanted to take her out to eat or to the movies, that someone had to accept the fact that they would not just be having a romantic dinner for two. Chloe and Grayson were part of the package. So, if someone was interested in getting to know Savannah, they would have to be willing to accept her situation.
I had a breakdown (thinking), ‘I don’t know how (my mom has) done in all these years.’ Like, she’s an angel. She’s one of a kind In no way shape or form will I ever be their mother. I’m still their sister. I see single moms and I’m like, ‘How do you do it? Like, you just (do) and now I’m like, ‘It’s just a packaged deal. Do you want to go to dinner? These two are coming along.’”
After breaking down and pulling herself back together, Savannah realizes that single parents just make it work because they have to. So, dating is an option for her as long as her potential partner understands that Chloe and Grayson are staples in her life.
