Does Savannah Chrisley Resent Her Parents & Current Situation?
At 25 years old, Savannah Chrisley is in the prime of her life. She is young, beautiful, successful, and rolling in money. A sizable wrench was thrown into enjoying her 20s when her parents got convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion before being collectively sentenced to 19 years behind bars. Because of their sentencing, she became a single mother of two at the age of 25. In an instant, her life was flipped upside down. Her reality was no longer doing whatever she wanted when she wanted. Suddenly, she had children to think about.
Naturally, one big question fans have is simple. Does she resent her current situation? Moreover, does she resent her parents for the predicament they’ve put her in?
As fans know, Savannah Chrisley recently went on a podcast tour. During that podcast tour, she sat down for an episode of Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe. During her appearance on that podcast, she opened up about her feelings toward her parents given the current situation.
Does Savannah Chrisley resent her parents and her situation?
For the most part, no one could really blame Savannah if she resented her parents. After all, Todd and Julie going to jail was a massive inconvenience to Savannah and her future plans. Suddenly, every move she made and step she took had to include taking Chloe and Grayson into consideration.
Speaking to Kaitlyn Bristowe, Savannah says that she has no resentment toward her parents. She’s been upset with the justice system and for a period of time she admits she was even upset with God, but she was never filled with resentment for her parents.
Now, Savannah Chrisley’s parents — to this day — maintain that they are innocent and were set up. Naturally, Savannah believes her parents when they say they didn’t commit these crimes. She believes her parents were wrongfully convicted and she believes it is an injustice that they are behind bars. So, Savannah is angry and she does have strong feelings bottled up inside of her about the current situation. But, she is NOT resentful toward her parents.
I know the things they have and have not done. I know the witch hunt. When the government wants someone, they want someone. They’re going to do whatever it takes to make it look how they need it to look. There’s no resentment whatsoever.

It must be incredibly hard for Savannah, although many families go through this everyday, without the financial support and lifestyle afforded them. Still, I’m sure it’s not been easy for her. Thankfully, she has her Grandmother and older Brother to help.
It would serve no purpose for her to allow resentment to manifest itself, as that would only destroy her. Strangely, this time away from her Father may help Savannah to spread her wings and grow as his control of her seemed to hold her down. Todd Chrisley talks a lot, but in truth, his business acumen is questionable at best, with failure after failure. She may do much better on her own. I hope so.
I have read every single court transcript of their trial, and while I am convinced of their guilt, I am hopeful that they can build from this and come away as better people, unite with their family and forge ahead.
I wish her all the best. Her future is bright.
