90 Day Fiance The Humble Way Oussama Earns Money

When Debbie was preparing to move to Morocco to be with her love, Oussama, she headed to the lawyer. Her son, Julian advised Debbie that she was being reckless. To be fair, she is 67 while her beau is only 24 so this is a major age difference. Julian wanted to ensure that his mother was taken care of and would not be scammed by Oussama. After all, she owns a home in Georgia and apparently has some assets that he felt she needed to protect.

Debbie seemingly makes and sells her art but what does Oussama do over in Morocco? He has won Debbie over with his poetry and sweet words so clearly, he is a creative and deep thinker. This is a big part of what connected them as well as her desire to be his sunshine when he felt dark. According to In Touch Weekly, Oussama makes his income in a very humble manner. He spends his days working on his family’s small farm.

Oussama acknowledged that he prefers cats to people as he likes silence. That is also what he gets from the farm, he shared.“My family has a farm, it a small one with like three cows, like 13 chickens, and one donkey. I like to work in the farm because you know, it’s just you and animals and your father. And silence, too,” he explained. He does not like to really do any hard work as he noted: “Hard work can kill the creations.” So, it appears he makes some money from helping out on the farm.

Is That All?

So it seems the 90 Day Fiance star makes some money from working on the family farm but is that all? No. Apparently, he also makes money from the show. Typically, it is hard for international cast members to get paid as they need work permits. However, Radar Online clarified why someone like Oussama can get compensated. The Other Way is being filmed in Morocco therefore he is allowed to get paid for his time. It is estimated that the cast receives up to $1500/episode. So, he is making money both on the farm, which is respectable, and from the show. Though he seems humble, he might change in the coming weeks when he tells Debbie he wants to move to America.

What do you think of how Oussama makes money? Is it going to be enough for Debbie? Let us know and watch 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Sundays on TLC.
