Zach Shallcross Reveals Begging, Pleading With Producers
The Bachelor Zach Shallcross seems to be doing things his way on his journey to find love. He’s had some firsts including suffering through a week of quarantine due to Covid. This led to the first-ever virtual rose ceremony. This entire week in London also led Zach to do some begging. Keep reading to find out more.
Zach Shallcross reveals begging producers
Entertainment Tonight shared why Zach Shallcross found himself begging and pleading with producers. Monday night fans saw Zach send Greer home after not being able to see her for nearly three weeks due to him getting Covid and then her getting it as well. He shared that it was something he really didn’t see coming and he tried hard to prevent it.
In fact, the entire situation found Zach begging and pleading with producers. Zach said, “I would’ve never known in a million years that I’m going to get this COVID curve ball of taking a whole week away from us to where you can’t just put everything on hold, as much as I wanted to.” He continued, “I begged and pleaded, [and] they’re like, ‘No, we have to keep this going.'”
Producers basically told Zach the show must go on and they made do with what they could which included Zoom conversations with all the ladies. Of course, those conversations also brought about Zach’s awkward conversation about Covid with Greer.
Zach continued on talking about sending Greer home and said, “So when I finally come back and she gets COVID right when I get back, that time is taken away from her. And again, we can’t stop everything.” He continued, “And it’s like, ‘All right, these relationships are either really progressing with these days or they’re not.’ At that point, when she had come back with Hometowns right around the corner, I didn’t feel confident enough to go there and meet her family because there were other relationships that I was very sure I was going to meet the family.”
Jesse Palmer also weighed in
Host Jesse Palmer also concluded that Covid played a huge role in Zach’s relationship with Greer. He pointed out that having zero communication for two weeks on this show is like an eternity. He went on to say, “You can’t help but ask yourself what would’ve happened had there not been COVID? What have, could have, should have. Would they still be together today? It’s obviously something that nobody can really answer. But absolutely, COVID did affect the show and it affected these relationships.”
Jesse has also always maintained that Zach is a unique Bachelor and takes it very seriously. Each goodbye is genuinely hard on him.
