Schwartz & Sandy’s Boycott Amid ‘VPR’ Cheating Scandal
Schwartz & Sandy’s could risk losing business amid the Vanderpump Rules’ cheating scandal. Fans are vowing to boycott the new establishment. On Friday, March 3, news broke that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix broke up over his affair with Raquel Leviss.
Bravo fans have lost their minds over the sudden and abrupt news. They’ve been sharing their thoughts and actively following the drama unfolding on social media. They even took to the official Instagram account for Sandoval and Schwartz’s to share their thoughts on what happened.
Of course, that’s not all that happened. Some fans left one-star reviews on Yelp. Keep on reading to learn more about the fallout.
Pump Rules fans boycott Schwartz & Sandy’s
Most of the comments on Schwartz & Sandy’s Instagram account were about the cheating scandal rather than the menu. Fans said they will boycott the restaurant. Here are just some of the comments:
- “Time to cancel this bar 🤢🤢🤢🤢 nobody likes two-timing men.”
- “#teamkatieandariana you lost a fan and paying customer … Poor Ariana 😢😢😢 Worst thing to do for business, cheating on your gf. Karma.”
- “I’ll take my business to Ariana and Katie’s sandwich shop instead.”
- “Boycotting this bar.”
That’s not all. Fans are also planning to boycott TomTom. They want to stop supporting both establishments because of what happened. VPR fans were in shock when Ariana and Sandoval ended their nearly 10-year relationship over his months-long affair with Raquel.
Others are vowing to support Katie Maloney and Ariana’s sandwich shop called Something About Her. They want the single ladies to open their new restaurant now so they could support them during this time. The Vanderpump Rules cameras have been rolling and documenting this latest drama. Producers are hoping to fit it into Season 10, which is currently airing.
Tom Sandoval & Tom Schwartz’s bar releases statement
In light of the boycott, Schwartz & Sandy’s released a statement on Instagram. They want fans to keep in mind those who are working behind the scenes at the establishment rather than the faces of the brand. They admit that they’re disappointed by what happened, but don’t appreciate the “outrage” directed at their business.
“Our staff, from the waitresses, and bartenders to the cooks and dishwashers, all have nothing to do with this unfortunate situation,” the statement reads. “Please take into consideration, that posting negative comments affects more than just the individual you may be upset with.”
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Tom Sandoval released a statement as welll. He apologized to everyone except his ex-girlfriend Ariana. The Bravo star also revealed that he’s taking a step back from social media and Schwartz & Sandy’s. He doesn’t want to ruin the business he’s built with his partner and best friend.
