Days ago, Selena Gomez announced a break from social media. Fans noticed that the Only Murders in the Building star also skipped out on the SAG Awards the same night she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy. Amid her drama with Hailey and Kylie, she announced that she was taking a break from social media.

“I’m gonna be taking a second from social media because this is a little silly,” Selena Gomez told her followers. “I’m 30, I’m too old for this. But I love you guys so much, and I will see you guys sooner than later. I’m just gonna take a break from everything.”

The drama unfolded last month when Selena Gomez shared a TikTok video about her laminated eyebrows. Kylie and Hailey seemingly poked fun at the former Disney star. Selena then shared in a now-deleted TikTok video saying, “And I’m not saying she deserved it, but I’m saying that God’s timing is always right.” Since then, Selena is the most-followed female celebrity on Instagram.

Selena Gomez is already back on social media

She already made her return on Sunday, February 26, just three days after announcing her break. Selena Gomez shared a photo of her night with her friend Connar Franklin. She wanted to share some big news with her fans.

On Thursday, March 2, Selena Gomez took to Instagram to share a series of photos of herself with her family. The Hollywood star rocked a makeup-free look as she went fishing with her father and her sister Gracie. Selena also wore an oversized black hooded sweatshirt and jogging pants that featured a star print. Her signature dark brown hair was slicked back in a ponytail.

Selena proudly held a large fish in her hand. She enjoyed being out of the public eye and in the great outdoors. In her Instagram post, she included a clip of herself zooming in on her eyeball.
