Dr. Pimple Popper Season 9 Renewed: Premiere Date Revealed
Per Variety, TLC confirmed in a press release that not only had Dr. Pimple Popper been renewed, but fans wouldn’t have to wait very long to catch new episodes. Turns out, Season 9 is set to be part of the spring line-up for the TLC network. Presently, Season 9 of Dr. Pimple Popper has a premiere date of April 5th. It is scheduled to air during the 9 p.m. timeslot.
As per usual, fans can catch up on the series by streaming old episodes via Discovery+. Moreover, new episodes of Season 9 will likely be available on Discovery+ the same day they are scheduled to air on the TLC network.
Here’s what the press release said viewers can expect from Season 9 of the TLC series: “pulls back the curtain a little more on Dr. Lee’s personal and professional life as we get to know the woman behind the scalpel. Dr. Lee’s work is more than skin deep – she jumps at every challenge with a smile and a love for her patients and their skin.”
When Did Viewers Last Enjoy New Episodes?
Season 8 of Dr. Pimple Popper was ten episodes long. The Season Finale of the series aired in September of last year. Season 7 of the series, however, also aired in 2022 with the Season Premiere airing in February of 2022. So, it is extremely common for TLC to renew and air two seasons of this series in the same year.
Fans that enjoy watching this medical documentary are thrilled to see TLC has brought it back for another season. Unsurprisingly, the series is an acquired taste as there are just as many TLC viewers who find the show to be a bit off-putting.

Absolutely the most interesting show on TV. A huge relief from reality shows like Darcy and Stacey. It is nice to see something that allows us to see medical procedures that a lot of us didn’t even know existed. Good Job Dr. PP
So glad she got renewed again. I love watching her show and all the problems people have. I love medical shows. I also with you would put on more new ER shows. Things that really happen in the ER. Those are good too and they are real. Can’t stand these crapy shows like sisters wives and Darcy and Stace. They are horrible shows and do not provide anything worthwhile to the mind!!
