Bringing Up Bates stars Travis Clark and Katie Bates have shared their birth story for their baby, Hailey James, with the world. The couple detailed the best day of their lives as they welcomed their little one to their family. Travis and Katie got married in December 2021. They moved into their first home together in New Jersey. This was a big change for her because the rest of her family lives in Tennessee. In August, Katie and Travis took to social media to tell fans that they were expecting their first baby. The due date was March 4, 2023. Now, the little one is here!

As TV Shows Ace reported, Travis and Katie’s baby girl made her debut on Feb. 17. Prior to her birth, they shared with fans that they were naming her Hailey James. James is Travis’ middle name.
When Katie was in pre-term labor, several of her family members made the trip from Tennessee to be there for the birth. Carlin Bates, Evan Stewart, and their two kids, Layla and Zade, were in town. Kelly Jo and Gil Bates were also able to make it in time to meet their newest grandbaby.

Throughout Katie Bates’ pregnancy, she and her husband documented every special milestone via YouTube. This is one way fans can keep up with them now that Bringing Up Bates has been canceled. They brought fans along as they went to appointments, decorated the nursery, and more. Of course, they kept fans updated as Hailey’s due date grew closer. Leading up to her birth, they shared a couple of videos about Katie being in pre-term labor.
Katie chose to have Carlin and Travis in the delivery room. So, Carlin was able to film the full birth. Then, Travis edited it and posted it on their YouTube channel. The first part of the birth story dropped on Feb. 18, and the second half was posted on Feb. 21.
