GMA3 stars’ homes could “blow up in smoke”

The former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors could lose their homes if they can’t find “new careers.” T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are living a fantasy right now. They have to deal with reality once again when they return home. Their million-dollar properties “may go up in smoke.”

Last month, the co-anchors were officially pulled from GMA following the news of their alleged affair. Eric Schiffer, chairman for the Los Angeles-based public relations firm Reputation Management, spoke to The U.S. Sun about their money woes. The couple will have to find a new job fast if they want to hold onto their properties.

“Short of that, the public recognizes that these were accouterments of past success that may go up in smoke because of the need to liquidate and have cash to live if a year from now, they’re not able to convert into new careers,” Eric told The U.S. Sun.

T.J. owns a half-million-dollar home in Atlanta, Georgia. He was awarded the property after his divorce from ex-wife Amy Ferson in 2006. It’s unclear if he has a mortgage payment on that home. However, T.J. is the only one listed on the deed.

Amy Robach flees New York

Meanwhile, Amy Robach has been hiding out in Atlanta with T.J. She just moved into her new $2 million Penthouse in New York City. She sold the home that she shared with her estranged husband Andrew Shue. The property was sold for $5.2 million.

Eric told The U.S. Sun that “they’re gonna have realtors calling looking to market” their properties. He also shared his thoughts on their respective severances. Amy Robach received a better severance package than T.J., according to a previous report. T.J. is upset that he ended up with a bum deal.

“Disney has likely negotiated to manage finances, manage the payout, to the extent that infractions by TJ were material. They asserted them. And that likely played a role,” Eric explained to the publication. “But you’re also talking about someone [Amy] who has much more seniority and achievements at the network and they showed respect to that, which they should.”

He feels the pair received last year’s severance. They’re financially set for now, as long as they don’t blow their money. What are your thoughts on T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach possibly losing their million-dollar homes? Do you think they should focus on finding new jobs? Sound off below in the comment section.
