Katie Bates & Travis Clark Welcome Baby Girl
Bringing Up Bates stars Katie Bates and Travis Clark’s little girl is finally here! The couple shared the exciting news with fans via social media, giving them all of the details. Keep reading for the full update and to see the first pictures of the precious little one.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Katie and Travis took to social media in August to announce their pregnancy. They later found out their baby is a girl and shared her name with fans too. They picked out the name Hailey James. Her original due date was March 4, but Katie was progressing much earlier than that, beginning in early February. So, her sister Carlin Bates, brother-in-law Evan Stewart, niece Layla, nephew Zade, and mother Kelly Jo made the trip to New Jersey to support her.
A couple of weeks after sharing she was in pre-term labor, Katie still hadn’t given birth. She revealed to fans that she had a few infections, which were causing labor signs. However, once they began treating the infections, things slowed down.
In the evening of Friday, Feb. 17, Katie Bates and Travis Clark revealed it was officially “baby time.” So, fans knew to be on baby watch.

On Instagram on Saturday evening, Katie and Travis announced their baby girl’s arrival and shared a couple of sweet snaps. They simply wrote, “Welcome to the world baby girl!”

On YouTube, the couple dropped the first part of their birth story. They wrote, “Hailey James Clark entered into the world on February 17th at 10:29 p.m. Baby and Momma are healthy and doing great! We are thanking God for giving us the biggest blessing of our lives!”

Of course, fans are leaving many sweet comments on Katie Bates and Travis Clark’s new social media posts about their daughter’s birth. Lots of friends and family members are showering the new parents with love too.
Hopefully, Katie’s recovery goes smoothly and she and Travis adjust to life with a newborn with ease. Along the way, they will keep fans updated via Instagram and YouTube. They promised the second part of their birth story will be posted on Monday.
