The Real Housewives of New York alum Eboni K. Williams made an appearance on The View. She went on the talk show to promote her new book, Bet on Black: The Good News About Being Black in America Today. During the interview, she called out Joy Behar’s comment that she made about the story that she shared.

Eboni sat in between Joy and Sunny Hostin. She admitted that she was in shock over the comment the comedian made earlier this week. Eboni revealed to the panel that she’s dating again. Her dentist introduced her to someone, but the date didn’t go well.

“I am dating. My dentist, who’s so sweet said, ‘I know a really great guy for you. I want you to meet him,'” Eboni explained. “I’m like, ‘Doctor, I’m kind of busy creating embryos and writing a book, but OK.'”

After the date, the former Bravo star realized that she was “ghosted.” She shared that her “DMs and phone are still open.” Joy Behar advised her to get a new dentist since she didn’t end up lucky in love. Eboni didn’t agree with her.

“I love you,” she said directly at the camera, referring to her dentist. “Joy’s being messy. I love it!”

The joke was all in good fun. Joy Behar and Eboni got along well during the interview. As Bravo fans may know, Eboni joined Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New York. The network canceled the show after that season.

It received poor ratings and complaints about the cast. Bravo fired all of the stars. Andy Cohen announced a reboot at BravoCon 2022 with new cast members. It’s called RHONY: Legacy, but there are contract issues with the veteran cast members. Some of them want to make as much money as the Friends cast did at the height of their fame.

The Real Housewives of New York Season 14 will also get a reboot with a whole new cast. They’re younger and more fashionable than the OGs. The reaction has been mixed with the new casting. Eboni didn’t talk about the new series on The View.
