In a recent broadcast of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Alan Cumming talked about how he mistook an adult item for something else while getting a massage. It was a racy story for daytime television. On Wednesday’s episode, the co-hosts spoke to the actor about his recent birthday celebration.

Alan traveled to Australia, Bangkok, and New Zealand. He also went to Baton Island in the Philippines. Kelly Ripa wanted more details. The icon shared that he went hiking in the mountains. Ryan asked him if he got a massage after attempting that feat.

Alan let out a laugh. He shared that someone put hot rocks on him when he got into a bath. The Scottish star went back to his “swanky hotel,” where he got another massage. The guest star shocked the hosts with his rated PG-13 rated story.

“What was hilarious was I was having a massage, and the guy said, you had a mask on, and then he held up a little plastic thing and said, ‘Would you wear this?'” Alan explained. “I said, ‘You know, you’ve got one on. I’m going to be face down. It’s going to be fine.'”

He ended up taking that mask since he was going to be on a flight the following day. Alan did a double-take at the mask the guy handed him. He realized it was actually a “modesty thing he wanted me to wear” below the belt.

Kelly Ripa let out a gasp. She clapped for the Hollywood star’s manhood. Alan said he “put it on my head.” The former soap star collapsed in laughter. He didn’t realize he was wearing a modesty cup in the airport and turned down that guy the night before for not covering up.

Alan admitted that he felt “so embarrassed.” Ryan admitted: “We all have a first story encounter about those.” The co-hosts looked at each other and laughed. The Peacock star carried on with the rest of his story, which you can see in the video below.

The daytime talk show has been on this level of raciness before. Earlier this week, Kelly Ripa mentioned her on-air wardrobe malfunction. She admitted that she had “delicate sensibilities” since she was wearing a thong the wrong way.

It all started when the co-hosts talked about National Plan Your Vacation Day. Kelly Rip joked that it was also “National Backwards Day,” since she had her underwear on backward. She joked that the unofficial holiday was “encouraging us to do everything oppositely.” She made a funny face as she looked directly at the camera.
