Lawson Bates’ wife has been through quite a few changes over the past year, from getting married to moving across the country. Her latest social media post sparked speculation about her possibly missing her old life. So, what exactly has she said? And why do fans think she might be unhappy in Tennessee? How has Tiffany Bates’ life changed?
In May 2022, Tiffany married Lawson. After their honeymoon, they moved her belongings from California to Tennessee, where they purchased their first home together. Lawson grew up in Tennessee, and most of his family still lives in the state.
Before moving to Tennessee, she was an actress, but now, it’s unclear what her plans are career-wise. From what she’s shared on social media, it doesn’t look like she has a traditional job. Fans have wondered whether she’s happy in Tennessee or if she wishes she was still living out west.

On Instagram, Tiffany shared a new Reel using the song That’s Not My Name by The Ting Tings. She included a series of clips from the various shows and movies she’s been in over the years, listing the different names she’s gone by on-screen.

Bringing Up Bates fans think she misses the Hollywood life.
After checking out Tiffany Bates’ new Instagram Reel, fans took to Reddit to discuss it. One fan said, “I wonder if at any point while making this Tiffany stopped and thought, ‘Yeah I was a successful child actor and now I’m a stay at home wife in Tennessee married to Lawson Bates.'”
Someone else added, “Gf had a name and speaking role in a freaking marvel movie, starred in multiple different Disney endeavors, and other credits and she’s living in Tennessee.”
Others added that Tiffany Bates seems “desperate” and “attention-seeking,” based on this Reel. Of course, no one knows how she really feels and whether she’s truly happy in Tennessee. And it doesn’t seem likely that she’d openly admit it to fans if she was missing her old life.
