Jamie Oliver & Wife Jools Excite Fans With BIG News

On social media, Jamie Oliver revealed that he had recorded an audiobook for his children’s book called Billy and the Giant Adventure. The big news is that he and his wife will be voicing it!

In an Instagram post, he shared, “I’m so excited to let you in on a project I’ve been working on that’s been so much fun. I’ve recorded an audiobook to accompany my children’s book, Billy and The Giant Adventure!”

Jamie shared a clip of the recording process including his wife. He also revealed other famous folks that are involved in the project. A few of the stars include Jason Flemyng from The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, Tamzene Allison-Power, Dexter Fletcher from Hotel Babylon as well as Kadeem Ramsay and Benny Mails.

Jamie also mentioned he has written a song for one of the characters in the book. He later continued in the post, “And the cherry on the cake is a song I’ve written for one of the characters. But who? You’ll have to listen to find out!”

What is Billy & The Giant Adventure?

Set to be released in April of this year, it is about a boy name Billy and his friends discovering a secret entry to an out-of-bounds Woods where strange things have been rumored to happen there. Billy and The Giant Adventure embarks on a journey of friendship, mystery and magic. The book will be released as a hardback, ebook and audiobook.

Jamie has written many books over the years including numerous best-selling cookbooks, each filled with simple and healthy recipes that focus on using fresh, whole ingredients. He is a strong advocate for home cooking and has shared his knowledge and passion for food.

Family Life With Jamie and Jools

On top of working together on this book, Jamie and his wife Jools Oliver share five kids between the two of them, making them very busy parents! They both have been vocal about the importance of involving children in the cooking process and encouraging them to try new foods.
