Whoopi Goldberg Questions Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Honesty

Whoopi Goldberg got her digs into Alyssa Farah Griffin. On Wednesday’s broadcast of The View, the panel discussed former Vice President Mike Pence, who is the latest person to have classified documents at their home. The ongoing drama with classified documents continues. Whoopi couldn’t help but question Alyssa’s honesty during the show. Keep on reading to learn more.

Whoopi Goldberg gets shady

The View talked about the ongoing issue with classified documents. More were found at Mike Pence’s home in recent days. Former President Donald Trump told David Muir he didn’t have any classified documents at his home back in November.

Alyssa Farah Griffin worked as White Press Secretary for Mike Pence during Trump’s administration. She told the panel that they underwent intense training in protecting classified documents. Alyssa feels that Pence was holding onto the documents he shouldn’t have had in his home, which she calls a “staff error.”

“When I resigned in December, [White House] staff was being threatened, ‘don’t look for new jobs’ [and] ‘don’t pack your offices,’ because they were not preparing for a transition,” Alyssa Farah Griffing explained. “…Mike Pence’s West Wing office was right around the corner. I didn’t suspect in that period… that he was packing up boxes and getting ready… I’m guessing this was a staff error.”

Whoopi Goldberg looked over at Alyssa and wondered if they might find classified documents on her as well. Her co-host Sunny Hostin said she should “better check your garage” and the “billiards room.” Alyssa tried to finish was she was saying. During that time, Whoopi spilled over her drink, causing the newcomer to laugh.

The View fans defend Alyssa Farah Griffin

During the live show, fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts. Most of them blamed Whoopi and the other co-hosts for speaking over Alyssa Farah Griffin. They were curious about what else she had to say. Here are just some of the comments:
