‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Shares ‘Out Of Body Experience’ With Ryan

Kelly Ripa shared her “out of body experience” with her co-host Ryan Seacrest. This took place during the latest broadcast of Live with Kelly and Ryan. She also threw shade at her producer. Keep on reading to find out what happened backstage at the talk show.

Kelly Ripa calls out her “rude” producer

On Tuesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, she mentioned that she had an “out of body” experience. Kelly Ripa started off the show by leaning back in her chair and scoffing at the top executives. Ryan Seacrest said that LIVE is “the only show where you can walk out one second before you go on the air.”

Kelly admitted the producers were rushing them to get on the stage. She wasn’t in a hurry. The former soap star joked that “45 seconds like six weeks in live TV.” During the strange conversation, Kelly admitted that she had an unusual experience. She called out the “rude” producer who disturbed her backstage.

“He saw me backstage and he said, ‘Where are you? What’s going on?'” Kelly Ripa said.

“‘Cause she was not there. She was there physically, but not mentally,” Ryan explained.

“And he goes, ‘What happened?’ And I go, ‘Gelman just briefed me on something,'” Kelly Ripa continued. “And you know I tune him out, so then I had to come back into my body.”

Ryan joked that it’s “a process.” Kelly Ripa apologized to her producer for ignoring him. Michael Gelman is the producer of LIVE. She’s called him out on the show before, but it’s all in good fun. The conversation had their fans baffled and wondering what was going on.

Warns LIVE! producers about hiatus

Last week, Kelly Ripa returned after her mystery illness. She warned the producers that she was going to need additional time off from the show. Kelly was excited about Madonna’s tour, which starts this summer. The All My Children alum wants to be a backup dancer since Madonna is looking for dancers and models between the ages of 50 and 90.

“I’m going to need some time off,” Kelly Ripa said. “At that point, I’m hoping to be retired. If I’m still going, you all have an obligation, okay?”

She wondered if that meant she would join Madonna on the road. Kelly then joked that she would have to take a “Sabbatical” in order to prepare for the highly-anticipated tour. The Live with Kelly and Ryan producers expressed concern about her earlier this month when she couldn’t speak. However, Kelly still showed up to work even though the viewers thought she should’ve stayed at home.
