Whoopi Goldberg shocks fans with her rant
On Tuesday’s broadcast of The View, Whoopi Goldberg shocked fans when she ranted during a heated discussion. The panel discussed the right-wing party, especially former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Whoopi joined her co-hosts Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin during the broadcast.

“I wish somebody would show me a book. Show me the school book, that everybody is talking about that is teaching CRT,” Whoopi Goldberg said.
Sunny mentioned that the “book” is only used in colleges. The Oscar winner said she wanted to see the book for herself. Whoopi “demanded” to see the book during her “heated” rant. She admitted that she had enough of the conversation surrounding CRT.

The View producers immediately cut her off. The music started, urging her to end her rant. Whoopi wrapped up her statement as the show went to a commercial break. Fans at home were in shock over her passionate speech.

This isn’t the first time they cut Whoopi off from talking. The View producers have dropped hints that she’s talking too much lately. On Monday’s broadcast, behind-the-scenes music played during another one of her rants. Ana Navarro and Alyssa shared their thoughts about President Biden amid the ongoing drama with the classified documents.

Her co-host Sunny interrupted her. Whoopi said her views on the situation were her own. As she continued to explain her thoughts, The View producers started to play music. They signaled that it was time for her to end her discourse.

At least Whoopi is honest and says what other people are thinking and I agree with her telling about history is great but continuing to bring racial things being taught in some schools causes more racism when we should be teaching acceptance and kindness and most importantly respect,
I didn’t see the show. But in reading this, I’m wondering why you didn’t include the “rant”? From what you are saying, it sounds like if someone’s views are different from yours, they are “ranting”. Here you are, obviously opposed to Whoopi, and still were unable to tell me anything she did or said wrong. I have been taught all my life that in this country you have a right to your opinion. But then, I was taught old school. When did that change? I must have been asleep.
Liked the View when Barbara Walter’s was in control. Now it’s a disaster.
We have noticed that Whoopi cuts the others off a lot lately, and tends to control all the conversations. We like to hear from all the co-hosts. She has become too preachy.

Give Whoopi the books she’s asking for, or at least provide her with the book titles and authors. I also want to know, as I thought the View was supposed to enlighten its viewers. Otherwise, we should have no reason to watch. I wish I could talk to Whoopi, and get her opinions on some of my dilemmas. The music for a break would never stop.

I have lost respect for her since she started talking politics. She’s obviously no expert. Most of it is out of touch rhetoric. Why can’t she just learn to take a pause once in awhile. She might learn something.
Whoopi has many resources and can access the book! Many, many, times, it does appear her opinion is the one others take note of and have to hear. It is hard for the other hosts to get a word or their opinion heard! When we talk about race, the focus seems to b on the African American culture. Native Americans, thousands and thousands, upon thousands, were lynched, had their scalpes cut and peeled, they were burned, beat, raped, disfigured, hands and feet bound and bodies mutilated and tortured, and they were executed for no apparent reason, other than their cultural difference and an effort to save their sons and daughters and mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters! They were forced to leave the land and the only homes they ever knew. They were starved and forced to urinate and have bowel movements on themselves and or executed for stopping to do so. They were also enslaved and sold, as many white people were. When are we going to stop focusing on just African Americans. All races have experienced senseless tradegy and torture and unreasonable, unthinkable, and unfathomable abuse! It’s not a white or black or different race thing, it’s a human thing, and we need to talk more about healing and teach our younger generation how much all of our ancestors suffered, not just African Americans, and I didn’t even mention the Holocaust!!

I look forward to spending time with the ladies on the view everyday from the comfort of my home. Their views on so many topics are interesting and at times very inspiring. My issue is with Whoopi. Although she makes a great host her comments are entirely too long, she cuts off the other ladies while their expressing their views and she comes across as a know it all.
