TOWIE fan-favorite breaks her silence
Lauren Goodger opened up about her social media disappearance. The TOWIE legend admitted that she’s “stronger than ever.” She appeared at the Inspiration Awards for Women at the Landmark Hotel on Friday, January 20.
“I’m ok, and I’m stronger than ever,” Lauren Goodger told The U.S. Sun. “I have to be strong for my daughter LaRose. Being strong is my only option.”
The former reality star explained the reason behind her social media absence. She admitted that she wanted to take a break from everything. Lauren shared that her followers, friends, and family were worried about her after she disappeared. She never explained if she ever caught up with them amid the concerns.
In July 2022, Lauren mourned the death of her daughter Lorena. She died from complications at birth. At the time, Lauren Goodger shared an emotional post on Instagram. She shared her daughters with her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury.
Unfortunately, their relationship wasn’t perfect. Lauren had a black eye after leaving a funeral for their daughter. Police arrested Charles who was later released on bail following the incident. Lauren wanted to become the best mother for her daughter LaRose.
“I’ve taken time out for myself. I have archived my Instagram posts, not deleted them for good, so some of them could make a return,” Lauren Goodger continued in her interview with The U.S. Sun. “I’m just starting afresh, but I’m still doing my charity work for Lorenna’s cause which is so important to me.”

Lauren Goodger makes first return in 2 years
The television personality admitted that this was her first public event in two years. Lauren Goodger is happy to be back in the public’s graces. She attended the red-carpet event, which included the likes of Mary Berry, Emma Thompson, Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra, and Gillian Joseph.
Lauren Goodger wore a transparent lace crop top over a cream-colored sleeveless shell and a matching floor-length skirt. She rocked a full face of makeup and an orange glow on the red carpet. Lauren finished off her look with a glistening gold headband and transparent heeled sandals.
