Growing Up Chrisley alum shares powerful message
On Tuesday, January 17, Todd and Julie Chrisley surrendered themselves to the federal prison officials. The couple was sentenced in November 2022 for fraud and tax crimes. Todd will serve 12 years at FPC Pensacola in Florida, while Julie will serve her seven-year sentence at FMC Lexington, Kentucky.
Savannah Chrisley is not holding back. She shared her thoughts on the matter on social media. During that time, she took to her Instagram Stories to fight for her mama. She posted a snapshot of Julie smiling brightly in a black leather jacket and lace blouse.
Savannah Chrisley captioned the snapshot: “Will forever fight for this smile. I love you, mama.” Last week, she shared a loving birthday tribute to Julie on Instagram. She shared snapshots and rare photos from their lives. In her caption, Savannah wrote a love letter to her mom.
“Happy Birthday to the most amazing woman that I know❤️,” Savannah Chrisley wrote in the caption before adding, “Dear Mom, I know this isn’t the birthday we had imagined but I’ll make it up to you.”
The Unlocked podcast host proclaimed that she will continue to fight for her mom. She said that she will continue to fight the court system. Savannah’s goal is to make sure that her family is back home together. In her message, she praised her mom and called her a “real-life angel.”
Most fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Some of them wished Julie a happy birthday, while others praised Savannah for her touching message. There were also some who believed that her parents got what was coming to them.
Savannah Chrisley questions Jen Shah’s sentencing
In the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah Chrisley questioned Jen Shah’s sentencing. She brought up The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, who was only sentenced to six and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud.
“Put the cases side by side, and it makes no sense –it just doesn’t,” Savannah Chrisley shared on the timely episode of her podcast, which came out on Tuesday.
She spoke to her mom about the Bravo star’s shorter prison sentence. Savannah noticed the difference was the victims involved in Jen’s case.
“There were hundreds of victims who were elderly, and people that provided statements that lost their homes, threatened to end their lives,” Savannah Chrisley argued. “There were so many different things, and she got six and a half years. Make that make sense!”

I believe that the punishment is more severe than it should have been. I applaud Savannah for fighting for justice. The justice system is so lopsided when it comes to punishment for the crime. The Fulton County System is more lopsided than most. It is crazy. Keep up the work Savannah and your family will once again be back together.
