‘Bringing Up Bates’ Alyssa Bates Shares Third-Trimester Update
Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Bates Webster is now in the third trimester of her pregnancy, so she hopped online to give fans an update. In September, fans learned that John and Alyssa’s family is growing once again. They already have four daughters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci. Now, baby number five is on the way, and it’s a boy!
Since sharing their baby news last year, the couple has continued to keep fans updated. Thanks to social media, fans have gotten a behind-the-scenes look at some of the special moments in this pregnancy, from the gender reveal to working on the nursery. The whole family is very excited to be welcoming a new baby to the world in April 2023.

Over the weekend, Alyssa and John uploaded a new YouTube video to give everyone the latest update about her pregnancy. In the new video, the husband and wife stood in the kitchen together and chatted. John excitedly said, “We might have settled on a baby name.” Fans have been waiting impatiently to learn the little guy’s name. The couple explained that it was tough to find a name that they could agree on. They have many girls name ideas but this was much more difficult.
Alyssa shared that they are still working on the nursery, but once it’s done, they are planning on having a joint nursery and name reveal. She teased, “Hopefully, that’s really soon.” So, stay tuned for that.
The Bringing Up Bates star admitted that she’s not the biggest fan of pregnancy because of how sick she gets. So, she’s thrilled that she’s now in the third trimester. Unfortunately, as of her 28-week appointment, the baby was still breech. He does have time to turn before birth, but Alyssa thinks he’s “stubborn.”
On Instagram, Alyssa has recently shared several new baby bump photos. She and John celebrated their nine-year engagement anniversary, so they went out on a date to celebrate.
